What Ribbon will you two represent?

No matter what Ribbon you and your future-to-be are representing for your wedding, choosing to donate money in lieu of wedding favors is not only a thoughtful and personal gift from the two of you it’s also the hottest trend in favor giving.

Lots of times brides and grooms choose something simple, candles or chocolates and 9 times out of 10 they get left behind for trash pick-up. So put your money to a good cause by making a donation in the name of your guest.

 1. How much should you donate?

• There are no set rules on exactly how much to give but a good rule of thumb is somewhere between $2-$5 per guest.
• However much you decide to donate is up to you and your future-to-be, just remember whatever you do, DON’T disclose the amount donated to your guest. This is not only a BIG NO-NO but also can come across very tacky.

3. What causes to donate too?

•  Breast Cancer – topweddingsites.com has a plantable pink ribbon to show to your guest that you two have donated in their name.

•  American Diabetes Association- ADA great write up on their website where they will actually provide you with all the necessary table and personal cards to present to your guests just for donating.  Check out the site for more details.  A great choice for the Bride and Groom who want to donate but don’t have a lot of time to be creative.
