Think about it! How much waste is created from planning and implementing a wedding? We here at In the PINK Ink have come up with just a few recommendations to start your wedding off on a bit of greener note:
SAVE THE DATES- While save the dates are important and informative, sometimes they can be done without. If you have the venue and the date, just send out the invitation! This will save unnecessary paper waste, postage and much more. IF YOU MUST, then choose a small designed save the date card made out of 100% recycled material. Your guest, and the earth, will thank you!
PLACE CARDS- Most place cards are just thrown away, what a waste! Depending on your wedding theme, try to incorporate place cards with guest favors. Also, try using recycled cardboard or a chalkboard to show your guest to their tables; this helps to add a bit of flare and eliminate the waste all in one shot!
GUEST FAVORS- If you as a couple are so earth friendly you should pass the message along to your guest in a form of a favor. Think about giving out seeds for your guest to plant on their own or have a tree planted in their name.
Just a few ideas to keep in mind if you are trying to be the earth conscious couple; it’s our job to help save the earth and your guest the unnecessary waste! Keep checking back for more Eco-Friendly Wedding ideas.
Till next time <3

Love the idea of seeded wedding favors. The flower that blooms will be a constant reminder of the couple's wedding day!
