This is one of the hardest tasks a woman you will ever face in her life. Whether you have been asked to be a bridesmaid or the matron of honor a lot rides on your shoulders to make sure the “Big Day” goes off with great success! So much can go wrong when given the task and title of this special person so we here at In the PINK Ink have come up with a few to dos and simple reminders to make sure YOU are the Best Bridesmaid you can be!1. Be a right hand woMAN- Whether you are the bridesmaid or the matron of honor, make sure to be EVERYTHING to your bride! Help her with day-to-day planning up till the wedding and be her right hand the day of. Whatever she needs make sure you know she needs it first!
2. Be a party planner- OK so yes you have to make sure the bridal shower is planned and the bachelorette party is planned. Remember these are TWO different events :) don’t try to combined! Don’t be afraid to enlist the help of other bridesmaids either, this is a collaborative effort and the bride and you will appreciate that. STILL having trouble? 3. Be a writer- Depending on which special title you have been given there may come a time when you are asked to “say a few words.” YES this means a FEW words, even if you are the sister of the bride nobody is interested in hearing about the lifetime of memories you share! Keep it short, simple and sweet; funny, classy and tear will do the trick <3
4. Be a Friend – The reason why you were asked to be a part of this day is because you are already a part of this couples life. Help her by being a good friend, be there when she needs your help but remember that a true friend is an HONEST friend. Give advice without giving orders and stay positive, a positive bridesmaid = a positive Bride!
So remember to be the best friend and best bridesmaid just follow a few simple instructions and you are on your way to a successful wedding for your bride <3

That’s informative post for bridesmaids to be. I will be one of bridesmaid for the first time in a friend’s wedding ceremony. Her ceremony will take place at some popular Los Angeles venues. I think your tips will be useful for me as I don’t have any experience of being bridesmaid.
