Tis' the Season...

Hey everyone :) new blogger here….my name is Meagan and I’m interning with In the PINK Ink working on Marketing & Social Media, thanks for welcoming me!

Hope everyone has finally digested from Thanksgiving and is gearing up for the NEXT Holiday Season which will land in yes 15 day 10 hrs and 26 minutes….but hey who’s counting right?!?!

I wanted to blog today about a very important subject that I’m sure has been on the minds of almost ALL of our readers, HOLIDAY PARTY PANNING!

Myself and the wonderful ladies here at In the PINK Ink have come up with a few Party Planning “Do’s & Don’ts” to help you kick off your holiday season with great success!!!! Check’em out!

1. DO NOT = Do it yourself!
    DO = Enlist people to help, just because your hosting the party doesn’t mean you should be the only one to do everything. Enlist help from friends, family members or for a real treat enlist the help of a party planner such as In the PINK Ink. Let your worries be someone else’s and relax for once ;)

2. DO NOT = Plan a FULL meal!
    DO = Have light snacks, i.e. cheese & crackers, finger foods and something simple and light. Most of your guest will not be looking for a full hearty meal, what they are coming for is good company and fun times. Check out a few recipes that we here at In the PINK Ink recommend.

3. DO NOT = Over Decorate!
    DO = Use white twinkle lights, festive music, greenery (trees & garland) and simple Christmas colors in splashes on tables. No one wants to come into your house and see the borrowed plastic lawn ornaments from your neighbor’s yard….especially your neighbor.

4. DO NOT = Dress for everyday!
    DO = Dress to impress, Tis’ the season to look fabulous and feel fabulous. If you don’t have time to look the part of a relaxed party Host/Hostess with the mostess, than you need to refer back to DO NOT #1 and call In the PINK Ink ASAP.
